Where does this SOL come from?+
It is the storage deposit (rent) held in a token account. Closing an eligible account returns its lamports to the selected destination. The amount depends on the account; it is not a reward or investment return.
Can I receive the token again?+
Yes. The token account can be recreated when needed. Creating it requires a new storage deposit, paid by whoever creates the account.
Which accounts are excluded?+
This version excludes accounts with tokens, Wrapped SOL, frozen accounts, accounts with a different close authority, and Token-2022 accounts. Multisig is not supported. Scans cover classic token accounts owned by your connected wallet.
Do I need SOL to start?+
Your wallet needs enough available SOL to pay the transaction fee upfront. The deposit you are reclaiming cannot cover that upfront payment. RENT ROOM charges no service fee in this version.
